PROGRAMS

WORKSHOPS

Furthering its mission as a resource to educators, CASIE offers several workshops to promote professional development in the field of international education, including:

  • Individualized Workshops
  • IB Workshops
  • Georgia Department of Education (GDOE) Workshops

RESEARCH & SPECIAL EVENTS

While encouraging the advancement of international education, CASIE feels it is paramount to research best practices in the field and give community members a forum to discuss crucial topics.  CASIE provides support and expertise for researchers in all fields relating to language and international education.  Additionally, CASIE hosts special events to bring together educators, business people, researchers and legislatures to discuss the role of international education in the U.S. community.

CONSULTING

CASIE provides consulting services to individual schools and school districts on all matters relating to international and language education programs. Areas of focus include:

  • IB Application Assistance
  • Implementation of Language Learning

INTERNSHIPS

CASIE provides two and three month long paid internships for education majors. Click here to find out more.

POLICY PLANNING

CASIE works with legislatures and government agencies to develop policies and budgets in support of International Baccalaureate and language programs.

CROSSWORLDS®

CrossWorlds® is a program designed by CASIE, which promotes Community Building Through Diversity. CASIE believes that academic success for diverse students is a responsibility shared by all educators, the family, and community.  This involves understanding cultural and ethnic characteristics that affect the learning environment.
