About the Course
Appreciation of US American Culture gives foreign students an inside look at US American life. Unlike other enrichment programs, the goal of this course is true cultural immersion. Students will better understand US American Culture, specifically Atlanta and the Southeast while gaining personal development opportunities. The course consists of classroom time, outside course work and in the field cultural experiences. Students will explore elements of the USA culture through visual arts, literature, architecture, tourism, cuisine, music dance, theatre, and film, while exploring the USA governmental structure and USA geography, physical and cultural. Language of instruction will be English.
Students looking to fulfill 1 or 3 credit hours will be able to select their hours from the entire course, giving them a truly personalized experience.
