How to Register

1. From our home page, click on Upcoming Events.

2. Find the programme (PYP / MYP / DP) and category you wish to register for and click on it.

3. When you have read the registration policies for the workshop, check the box that you have read the policy, and click Continue. For new registrants, leave the name and email address fields blank before clicking Continue. For returning registrants, log in using your last name and email address, and click Continue. Registrants who attended CASIE IB workshops in previous years will still need to create a new registration account (by leaving name and email fields blank).

4. The following screen will have blank fields for name, address and school information. If the attendee’s email address is already in the system, his/her information will automatically be entered in the fields. Please verify all of the information. Please note the IB/Curriculum Coordinators email can entered as the assistant/additional email on this page. If teacher/IB Coordinator wants any additional people (bookkeeper, department head, etc.) besides him/herself carbon copied on registration/confirmation email, then please include “; additional email” in additional email field, i.e. coordinator@school.edu; finance@school.edu; jon@school.edu, etc. Once all of the contact information is entered, click Continue.

5. Select the Workshop (subject) that the registrant will attend. This page indicates how many slots remain in each workshop. You may register up to 5 people in any one workshop from one particular school. If the workshop is full, you may click “Add me to the Waitlist” to be waitlisted. Click Continue.

6. The next page is a summary of all registration information and workshop selection. Click “Complete Registration” to select method of payment. If registering multiple people, click “Add a Registrant” to add another registrant to this order. You may repeat this process to add as many registrants from your school as necessary. After all are registered, mark Complete Registration.

7. The next page is the payment page. Select method of payment. Options include Purchase Order, Check, Wire Transfer (email info@casieonline.org for wiring instructions and CASIE bank information), Money Order, or Credit Card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Please print out this payment page for your school’s records, as it shows the balance due. If paying by credit card, once the payment is processed the balance due appears as $0 and this page serves as your receipt.

Questions

Can an IB coordinator register more than one teacher at a time?
Yes.  You may enter the first registrant as the Primary Registrant, and add other teachers to that order.  To do this, click the “Add a Registrant” button.  Enter the name, email, and other profile information of the new teacher, and be sure that the proper category and workshop are selected.  General information from the previous registration should be pre-populated to simplify the process. The final payment page should reflect the total charge for all registrants.

What if I don’t have a PO or check?
You may select “Pay by check” or “Pay by Purchase Order” on the final payment page of registration, and input “To be determined” if you do not yet know the check/PO number. CASIE will not be able to send you final confirmation of your enrollment in our workshop until we receive either the purchase order or a check for the full amount. Note that your registration will not be confirmed until we receive the PO or the check. You cannot “hold” a place and your electronic registration does not guarantee you a place until we have the PO or the check. CASIE reserves the right to cancel registrations without full payment (check, credit card, money order, bank wire NOT purchase order) within one month of registration. Paid waitlist participants will be accepted in lieu of unpaid registrations from one month before workshop dates.

Why do you need our IB School Code and where do I find it?
Candidate and authorized schools are required to train a certain number of their teachers. This number is reported back to IBA and helps them track the number of teachers your school has trained. All IB School Codes can be found on IB’s website. From the home page, go to the “Find an IB World School” section. Find your school and click on the name. The IB School Code will appear along with other information about your school. If you are currently exploring IB, are in Candidate status, or have not received your IB School Code yet, please enter “Candidate” in this registration field.

I need to send some people to training, but I don’t know who can go yet. Can I just hold some places?
We require that you enter a name and unique e-mail address for each participant. Please limit any name changes to a minimum and notify CASIE ASAP of such changes to info@casieonline.org. Include the name, registration number, subject, category of the teacher who is not attending and the replacement teacher’s name and email.

What if I register someone and they change their mind or cannot go?
We have a cancellation policy that is outlined in the Registration Policy tab on the registration website of each workshop. A link to the policy is also provided on the on the initial registration page (under Register tab), and must be agreed upon before moving forward with registration. All cancellations made before the beginning of normal registration period must be in writing and will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations on and after normal registration period date will NOT be refunded.

Who do I pay and how?
We accept credit cards, checks, purchase orders, wire transfers, and money orders made out to CASIE. In order to secure your registration, we will need to have at least a Purchase Order from your school district. Once you have registered, your district is obligated to pay. CASIE reserves the right to cancel registrations without full payment (check, credit card, money order, bank wire (purchase order does NOT qualify as full payment) within one month of registration. To either pay by credit card upon initial registration, or to log in to an unpaid registration in order to pay by credit card, click Continue four times and then click Complete Registration and then select Charge my Card.

I need to change the name of one of the participants, what do I do?
All name changes must be sent to CASIE in writing. Please email your request to info@casieonline.org. Include the name, registration number, subject, category of the teacher who is not attending and the replacement teacher’s name and email. Please note that all name changes received less than three business days prior to the start of the workshop may not be reflected at the time of check-in.
